3M Medipore +Pad Soft Cloth Wound Dressing — Breathable, Conforms & Flexes, 6 Sizes

A soft cloth island dressing that breathes, stretches, and flexes with the body — the comfortable single-step alternative to tape and gauze for surgical wounds, IV sites, and acute injuries. The 3M Medipore +Pad Soft Cloth Adhesive Wound Dressing is an all-in-one sterile island dressing that combines a non-woven soft cloth backing with a unique non-adherent absorbent wound pad — delivering the breathability and comfort of soft cloth tape with the wound protection and drainage management of a non-adherent island dressing in a single easy-to-apply product. The soft cloth backing provides cross and diagonal stretch — conforming to body contours and flexing with body movement and swelling, allowing the dressing to remain securely in place without restricting circulation or causing the lifting and wrinkling that rigid film dressings cause at joints and high-movement areas. The hypoallergenic non-latex adhesive provides excellent skin adhesion while remaining gentle enough for sensitive skin. The non-adherent microgrid wound contact pad does not bond to healing tissue — promoting normal healing with less pain and trauma at every dressing change.

✔ Soft Cloth Backing — Cross & Diagonal Stretch, Conforms to Body, Flexes With Movement    ✔ Non-Adherent Pad — Won't Stick to Wound, Less Pain at Dressing Change    ✔ Breathable & Porous — Reduces Maceration Risk, Better Moisture & Oxygen Exchange    ✔ Hypoallergenic Non-Latex Adhesive — Gentle on Sensitive Skin    ✔ Single-Step Application — Replaces Separate Tape, Gauze & Non-Adherent Dressing

Indicated For — Wound Types & Applications

  • Post-surgical wounds and closed incisions — particularly on high-movement areas like joints, hands, and feet where swelling is expected
  • Cuts, lacerations, and abrasions requiring a comfortable daily-use island dressing
  • First and second degree burns
  • IV catheter sites — peripheral and central
  • Wound sites on patients with sensitive or reactive skin where standard film adhesive causes irritation
  • Acute wounds on the elbow, knee, shoulder, ankle, and other flexion points where rigid film dressings lift
  • Any low to moderate exudate wound requiring a breathable, comfortable, single-step all-in-one dressing
  • Secondary cover over light-exudate primary wound dressings requiring a soft cloth retaining layer

Note: Indicated for light to moderate exudate wounds. Not indicated for heavily exuding wounds as a sole dressing — use with an additional absorbent primary dressing for high-output wounds. For infected wounds consult a healthcare professional.

How It Works — Soft Cloth + Non-Adherent Pad

Standard film island dressings use a polyurethane or polyethylene film backing — waterproof and secure, but rigid and prone to lifting at edges when the patient moves. Standard gauze island dressings are breathable but their woven construction allows gauze fibers to integrate into healing wound tissue, causing pain and tissue disruption at removal. Medipore +Pad solves both problems. The soft non-woven cloth backing provides cross and diagonal stretch — it moves with the patient, conforms to contours, and flexes with swelling rather than pulling away from the skin — maintaining secure adhesion through the kind of daily activity that lifts rigid film dressings. The breathable porous construction allows free moisture vapor and oxygen exchange, reducing the risk of periwound maceration that sealed film dressings cause on extended wear. The non-adherent microgrid wound contact pad absorbs light to moderate exudate while forming no bond with the wound surface — the microgrid structure keeps the wound protected and moist without the fiber integration that makes standard gauze adherent and painful to remove.

  • Soft cloth backing with cross and diagonal stretch — flexes with body movement, resists edge lifting at joints and contours
  • Porous and breathable — moisture vapor and oxygen exchange reduces maceration risk compared to film dressings
  • Non-adherent microgrid pad — does not bond to wound bed, promotes normal healing with minimal pain at removal
  • Highly absorbent inner pad — manages light to moderate exudate, reduces saturation and dressing change frequency
  • Hypoallergenic non-latex adhesive — strong adhesion without sensitization risk, gentle on sensitive skin
  • Single-step all-in-one application — replaces separate non-adherent, gauze, and tape components
  • Reduces application time — one dressing in one step vs. three-component traditional assembly
  • Particularly indicated for areas of swelling or movement — cross-stretch backing accommodates edema without constricting
  • Sterile and latex-free — appropriate for all clinical and home wound care settings

Choosing the Right Size

Item # Overall Size Pad Size Qty/Box Best For
3562 2" x 2¾" 1" x 1½" 50/box Smallest size — IV sites, finger and toe wounds, small lacerations and abrasions. Highest count per box.
3564 2⅜" x 4" 1" x 2⅜" 50/box Narrow medium — IV and catheter sites on forearm and wrist, small elongated wounds and minor surgical sites
3566 3½" x 4" 1¾" x 2⅜" 25/box Standard medium — the most widely used size for general post-surgical, acute wound, and IV site management
3568 3½" x 6" 1¾" x 4" 25/box Medium elongated — lower leg, forearm, and shin wounds, longer post-surgical incisions and extended wound sites
3570 3½" x 8" 1¾" x 6" 25/box Large elongated — thigh, calf, and back wounds, larger post-surgical incisions requiring extended pad length
3571 3½" x 10" 1¾" x 8" 25/box Largest size — extended surgical incisions, large elongated wounds, and any application requiring maximum pad length in a soft cloth format

Selection Tip: Choose a size where the pad is slightly larger than the wound area and the soft cloth border overlaps onto intact surrounding skin. For wounds on joints or areas of expected swelling, select the next size up to allow for dressing movement without edge lifting.

Best. Toy. Ever. For My Superchewer!
Size: Large, Color: Skinny Green, Size: Large, Color: Skinny Green
Best toy ever! My dog destroys toys. Usually within about 15 minutes, she has de-squeakered and defluffed them. By the second day, she has tug-of-war-ed them to shreds. From the time we got this adorable dragon out of the package, she LOVED it. She set to work. It’s been a week, and while she has dewinged him, he lost his squeaker after a few days, and he looks a bit rough, he’s still in one piece! And, we’ve had HOURS of tug-of-war with minimal rips! She’s obsessed 😍 I ordered two more today. We’ve finally found the perfect toy for my baby!

My 90 lb. Pitbull's All-Time Fave Toy
Size: Large, Color: Coral, Size: Large, Color: Coral
I ordered a plethora of new toys for Bruce to keep him occupied while I am working remotely from home. Poor guy gets so bored while I'm stuck in front of my computer 8+ hours a day. All the other toys are animated, but this one is just a big floppy chewy squeaky toy. Bruce quickly lost interest in all the other chirping, hopping, and twirling toys and fell in love with "Diny". When I opened Diny and gave it to Bruce, he had the elated and surprised look of a 3 yr old at Christmas. And he stayed that happy for hours, and then each time he picked up Diny to play. Diny became his go-to toy over all others (and there are many!). It is well made out of durable fabric, and they did not stuff it full of kapoc (I hate kapoc in dogs toys!). And it is delightfully low-tech. Normally he tears a squeaky toy apart as soon as he can isolate the squeaky mechanism. But cleverly, the squeaky box is loose in the long belly so it moves from one end to the other as the toy is handled. That made it difficult for Bruce to locate it. The toy remained in good condition for 2 weeks of near constant attention by Bruce. But yesterday he zeroed in on the squeaky box and ripped Diny to shreds. I was sad to see Diny go so soon. But boy-howdy was Bruce happy with it. I'm gonna buy another because we liked it so much. And so did I : )

This is one “under the radar” gem!!
Size: Large, Color: Coral
This is one “under the radar” gem!! Very strong internal squeaker and way tougher than it looks. My big 125lb Shepard-Husky mix gave it heck, then made it his new buddy. He’ll occasionally give it the business but on the whole, it’s surprisingly tough and my big boy loves it. Nice price!!

Cute but small
Size: Large, Color: Skinny Green
Cute stuffy and has not yet ripped. While my dogs plays with it, the toy is a bit small for him. For reference he is 120lbs.

My Puppy Loves this Indestructible Dragon
Size: Large, Color: Pink, Size: Large, Color: Pink
My puppy (8 month old black lab mix) loves, loves, loves her dragon. She has had it for 2 months now. It is one of her favorites and gets daily rough play time. It's her go-to toy for fetch and tug games, as well as just general mouthy play. The squeaker gave out after about 4 weeks, but she would binge squeak for prolonged periods (kind of like chomping on gum) so it was almost a blessing when it went silent. She still chomps on it, but at least now I don't have to hear it. Other than the fact that it's a little grungy and bedraggled from so much loving, it is still in amazing shape. The seams and fur are all still intact. There are no visible holes, rips, or weak spots. I love Chew Guard Technology. This dragon replaced her goDog Iguana (from PetSmart) that developed a tear in the fur after about 4 months of heavy use. (It was superficial, just the outer fur layer and not the innards, but we disposed of it before she could eat more fur.) She can be pretty rough on her toys and I can never predict if any given toy will last minutes or months. The goDog stuffies definitely fall into the "months" category, even with rough daily use. Edit: The dragon lasted about 6 months of intensive, hard play before it developed a small tear in the fur. I patched it a couple times, but once my pup discovers a weak spot, it's the kiss of death for any stuffed item. We had to dispose of the dragon (so sad) to keep her from eating any more of the fur. We replaced the dragon with the goDog Chameleon, which is still going strong. I think we will go back to the dragon for our next toy because it's just so darned cute. We gave the dragon to my niece for her golden retriever puppy who is very chew-happy. That dragon is also doing well. You've just gotta love that chew-guard technology. This is one tough toy.
